The summer Milky Way, arcing across the horizon, shines over a sandstone formation in the badlands near Terry, MT. Part of the Hellcreek formation, this area is rich in fossils, exposing dinosaur bones as the Earth weathers away. Taking this photograph, a stitched-panorama of 24 images, I was struck thinking that Jurassic beasts walked over the very ground where I stood.
